Description: New York, H.E. & S.S. Scranton, 1854. Leather. 720p. A hardcover book bound in 3/4 black leather with gilt trim, and black cloth boards. Very good condition. Edges rubbed, most heavily at the corners and at the bottom of the spine. Edges of endpapers tanned. Foxing and occasional spotty staining on main pages, but text is otherwise unmarked and binding is secure. A history of Native Americans in an original 19th-century binding, and very scarce thus. Illustrated with numerous color plates, and additional ones in black and white. .
