Description: Philadelphia, The Curtis Publishing Company, 1901. Paperback. 20p. An oversize staplebound magazine (measuring approx. 14.25" x 11.25") in acceptable condition. Top and right sides of front cover show dark, hazy discoloration, indicating smoke damage. Spine is splitting, but pages still well enough attached for normal handling. Horizontal crease across the center, as the entire magazine was once folded in half. Some small closed tears along the edges. Interior unmarked and complete. The February 16, 1901 issue of THE SATURDAY EVENING POST, containing Paul Laurence Dunbar's dialect poem, "W'en de Colo'ed Ban' Comes Ma'chin' Down de Street," on page 9. .
