Description: London/Westminster, Joseph Masters, 1852. Hardcover. 442p. A hardcover book in fair condition. The cover is quite damaged; the edges are worn through to the underlying cardboard, making for a ragged appearance. The spine was long ago repaired with heavy-duty cloth held on by now-tanned pieces of tape. Circular stain on the front panel. Old inscription on front free endpaper. The pages are a bit brittle, flaking off at the edges when turned quickly or handled roughly. Otherwise, the text is unmarked and all pages are securely attached. A worn copy of a scarce publication. .
