From the title page: "In Two Parts, to which are prefixed Two Essays, Concerning the Roman Learning and the Roman Education." Thye author was an Anglican cleric who lived from 1674-1715. This is his most important work, originally published in 1696. Second American edition, undated; appears to be ca. 1825. .
