The fine binding is not signed but is reminiscent of the work of American binderies in the early 20th century. The spine is slightly faded to a light brown. Five raised bands on spine. Interior fine. A handsome book in very good condition. A beautiful example of the large-paper issue of one of the naturalist's classic works. .
