Mixed set of an important work by the Portugese Jesuit Francisco de Mendoça (1572-1626), his commentary on the first and second book of Kings. It consists of the first German edition (1628) of volumes 1 and 2, and the Lyon edition from 1631 for volume 3. The German volume 3 became available in 1632. Some marginal worming, with loss of a few letters. Some marginal waterstains. Spine ends slightly damaged
