Book condition : good. - Second edition of Dutch translation of Camino de la Perfección (1589), the first translation was published in 1613, by Saint Teresa of Ávila (known in religion as Teresa de Jesús, baptised as Teresa de Cepeda y Ahumada). She was a major figure of the Catholic Reformation as a prominent Spanish mystic and writer and as a monastic reformer. She was born at Ávila, Old Castile in 151 and died at Alba de Tormes in 1582. Her feast day is October 15. She is recognised by Roman Catholics as one of the thirty three Doctors of the Church.
