Book condition : very good. - The MIT Radar School was established in June, 1941, under the direction of Dr. Wilmer Barrow, for the purpose of training a selected group of Army and Navy officers in the principles and techniques of ultra-short-wave and microwave radar. Because of the rapid development of radar during the past few years, many of the circuits described in the first edition have become obsolete. Therefore, in an attempt to improve the presentation of the subject matter and to bring the book up to date, a second edition has been prepared. In the second edition, the chapters on Timing Circuits, Indicators, Modulators, Transmit-Receive Devices, and Synchros and Servomechanisms have been completely rewritten.
