Description: Lee & Lee, printers, 1862. Single advertising handbill, 265 x 190 mm. on bright yellow paper made up of two conjoined sheets. Joseph Thrupp and George Maberly merged their two coachmaking businesses in 1858 and shortly afterwards advertised themselves as by appointment to Queen Victoria. They later made bodies for electric cars, then for luxury cars such as Rolls Royce, Bentley and Daimler.
