Description: Gloucester: J. Bonner, printer, 1813. Broadside, 295 x 210 mm. a little chipped and rubbed. There were 27 different crimes listed involving 37 accused> of these, 9 were sentenced to death, the first, Luke Heath, for the notorious murder of his pregnant lover at Cow-Honeybourne, the others for theft of livestock and personal possessions. Henry Allum, aged 16, was charged with stealing from the pocket of Richard Fenning of Binton, two one pound notes for which he was sentenced to death. On the other hand, Thomas Carpenter, also 16, charged with the theft of four and a half guineas in gold and a one pound note, was sentenced to 6 months in jail and a whipping.
