Description: 1894. Membership card, 90 x 60 mm. "Ladies and Children's Classes Daily at 3." This membership card was for a Miss Inman> 9st 2½ibs 5ft 4¼ inches. James Chiosso [1789 - 1864] founded the London Gymnasium and Fencing School which was still being run by grandson in 1940. He invented the Polymachinon, a forerunner to the modern exercise machine.
