Description: B. Perelli Rocco. c. 1895? Folio, 8 page catalogue on pink paper, 325 x 215 mm. rather fragile with some closed tears. Established in 1865, a record of bankruptcy was made in 1869, but the firm, established by Bruto Perelli-Rocco, obviously recovered and this extensive catalogue, probably issued in the late 19th century shows a wide range of imported goods including anchovies, cheeses, essences, fruits, over 2 dozen types of pasta, olives, olive oil, sausages and hams, soups, spices truffles and turtles, etc. "Recipes for cooking maccaroni, polenta, risotto, Etc., given on application."
