A similar publication, entitled "A True State of Facts...", dated to 1755 is probably later than this one. This sets out the development of various proposals and acts for an improvement of the harbour, initiated in 1748 and following the plans of William Ockenden> a number of critical comments on Ockenden's plans are noted in manuscript.
