Description: 1853. Bifolium, 260 x 215 mm. printed three sides on blue paper, spotted. Top of second sheet is torn off, but present, with no loss. Thomas Napper was a surgeon from Dorking in Surrey whose wife was accused of having an affair with Rev. Ward in 1851. This document sets out the facts and includes reports of a Miss Jane Stower, who was sent to Lincoln to identify Ward, and letters from Charles Platt of Lincoln, a merchant, who appears to have been acting as an agent for Napper.
