Description: Lincoln: John Drury, Auctioneer and Printer, July 26, 1809. Broadside, 430 x 260 mm. a little creased and soiled with a large chip in the bottom blank corner. Whilst the bank of Sheath, Steel and Wray survived this particular storm and issued notes until at least 1812, all three partners were declared bankrupt by 1814.
