Description: Tombland, c. 1790. Label or book ticket, 45 x 60 mm. There was a prominent Ives family in Tombland, Norfolk from at least the first part of the eighteenth century. Jeremiah Ives, and his wife gave a splendid ball in 1802 and it is likely this is the Mrs Ives of the ticket. He later built a house at Old Catton where he died in 1820.
