Title: Resolution of a Parish Meeting...held on 24th June, 1830...
Description: Ledbury: printed by J. Gibbs, 18th November, 1830. Handbill, 210 x 170 mm. This item may have at some time been mounted and will bear traces on the reverse of adhesive or removal of mounts. "...nuisances that have been created by the erection of privies and pig-sties adjoining them...inconvenience...by the stopping up of ancient footpaths..." A resolution and order that the local surveyors prevent such encroachments and "...all illegal acts whereby the comforts and interests of the community may be prejudiced or endangered." Presumably the original resolution was not advertised widely enough, or heeded, requiring a resolution six months later to print and distribute the order.
