A local political handbill railing against certain local people who had been advocating for the sale of parish property to pay for a parish debt. The poster explains the economic facts of using the income from the property to pay off the debt, whist retaining ownership. If only successive modern governments had understood this principle, rather than selling off the 'family silver.'
