The boards each have a large printed title piece for the individual titles [front and back]. The plates all a little spotted and very slightly creased in places and loosely stitched within the boards. 8 large lithographed plates in total. Subjects in Trianon> Vue du Chateau, Vue du Pavillon de Musique, Vue d'une Partie du Hameau, Vue du Temple de l'Amour: Chantilly> Vue du Chateau Prise de la Pelouse, Vue des Ecuries Prise dans la Parc: Champs Elisés> Hotel et Jardin de Mr. E[different view]. None of these sets appear to be common either at auction or in worldwide institutions. It seems likely that they were issued to be coloured and framed and that finding them as issued as here is most unusual.
