Bolle, (ca. 1910) The German adaptation of Defoes Robinson by G.A. Gräbner was considered very educational, and was first published in Dutch in 1869. In 1880 a second Dutch translation was published by C.H. Brouwer, and a third Dutch translation by P. Louwerse was published in 1888. The latter became most popular, but the fifth edition mentioned here on title is in fact the third edition by Louwerse, as editions were counted from the first Gräbner translation from 1869 on.
