Nalle for housewares, including bread plates, gravy boats, match stands, and a griddle greaser, totaling $43.15. Stamped as payment recieved, April 29th, 1892, and initialed "L.H." With stamped envelope to Mrs. Thomas B. Nalle, in Culpeper, VA. James Wilson Brown (1833-1920) was a successful merchant, his store expanding over the years. Very good, faint wear and soiling to invoice, envelope lightly browned and soiled.
