"Mount Corcovado and Botafogo Bay, Rio De Janeiro," 16 x 23.7 cm. signed "M. Jackson." Mason Jackson (1819-1903) was a distinguished engraver, "in 1860 Jackson joined the staff of the 'Illustrated London News' as art editor, a position which he filled with great ability till his retirement some thirty years later," (Dictionary of National Biography, 12). A very good copy, crisp.
