There was much renewed interest in Mexican mining and exploiting Mexico's natural resources once it was again opened to some outside participation. "In the history of Mexican mining there are two key moments related to the participation of non-national companies, specifically of British and American origin, and for which Pachuca was a focus of great interest ..
