Margry attributes the manuscript to Piere Bontier and contends that Bergeron's edition (1630), using both Bontier's and Le Verrier's works, was produced to enhance Jean Béthencourt while diminishing Gadifer de La Salle. Uncommon. A very good copy; original wrappers browned, owner's armorial bookplate on front pastedown, occasional soiling, some minor edgewear.
