Description: London, J Taylor [5th ed] 1808 (A New Edition) x, 76pp, 78 plates, 2pp publisher's notices 26x21, green cloth, paste on label on spine Cloth worn and grubby, splitting along spine with pulling and small areas loss at top and bottom, fep missing, damp marks on last couple of pages and rep, slight browning and marks throughout, pencil written owners's name on ffep, fair to good thus. One of several revised Taylor editions of this classic work; as often, this is a working copy with signs of use. This is the fifth edition, although it is not numbered as such; Taylor published a 4th edition in 1805 and a 6th edition in 1814.
