Description: London, Fabian Society, 1960. 36pp. Pamphlet, 21x14. Very good. The problems of population migration from the major cities in the UK, and flaws with existing policies. Particularly interesting is a short section on 'household fission' - apparently it came as a surprise that a single household in an urban clearance area could turn into several households in a New Town. That this hidden homelessness is still a widely overlooked problem 60 years later is less of a surprise, but depressing nonetheless.
