Description: London, The Studio 1911 456pp, numerous illustrations, some in colour. 29x22, decorated green cloth, bevelled edges, glt lettering to spine. Standard Studio binding, front a little rubbed, slight shelf-wear, ffep torn and repaired with tape, binding cracking in a couple of places, top edge a bit rubbed, good thus. Fascinating article on the Architecture of Sport, illustrated with the new modern stadiums in Germany (Nürnberg in particular), essays on Augustus John, British Woodcuts (with a lovely David Jones work) and much coverage of modern furniture design.
