Description: London, The Studio 1908 346pp, numerous illustrations and tip-ins, these with tissue guards, some in colour 29x22, decorated green cloth, bevelled edges, glt lettering to spine. Standard Studio binding, front a little rubbed, slight shelf-wear, light foxing on some pages, contents generally very good. Something of a northern European theme to this volume, with appreciations of Kröyer, Liljefors and Sparre. One of the major articles is a review of the life and work of John Buxton Knight, the landscape painter, who died at the start of the year; many of his works are reproduced.
