Description: London, The Studio 1910 340pp, xvi (illustrations of prize winners, bound in after each issue), numerous illustrations and tip-ins, these with tissue guards, some in colour 29x22, decorated green cloth, bevelled edges, glt lettering to spine. Standard Studio binding, front and spine nice and bright, slight shelf-wear, light foxing on some pages, a few of the tissue guards creased, contents generally very good. Survey of Emma Ciardi's garden painting - which were very well received - and updates on contemporary American art. The highlight (though this might be a bookseller's bias) is an article by Frank Newbolt on etched bookplates, with some exquisite examples.
