Cloth discoloured on spine and top of front, ex-lib with mark on spine and stamps, content good and map intact. Study carried out by the city to highlight the day-time population of the City was substantial and highly valuable, at a time when the national Census was showing that the population of the City was falling rapidly. Includes data for goods, coal dues and the like, as well as lists of projects funded through them. Part of the ongoing campaign by the Corporation to retain its independence as the goverance of London was being debated.
