Description: London, 1951. 61pp inc adverts and illustrations, lovely coloured double-page aerial view of the Festival showing the lay-out and all the chief pavilions. 37x26, stapled wraps. Staples rusting, wraps a bit rubbed and slightly chipped, central spread loose from the staples but otherwise undamaged, better than average condition for this item though still flawed. Although the cover seems oddly unsympathetic to the ethos of the festival, this is actually a superb visual survey of this great event, with fascinating and unusual photos, artist views etc. Many photos show people enjoying themselves in the various pavilions.
