Guide to the trees to be found in London's streets and parks, and recommendations for which species to plant. Illustrations are striking - as ever the elms are among the best looking specimens, but even before the ravages of Dutch Elm Disease they were not considered suitable for urban planting because of the danger of sudden limb loss.
