The first edition of Greber's work on the 18th century cabinet-maker. Roentgen, who received commissions from Marie Antoinette for his work, was particularly known for both his marquetry and the 'mechanical' aspects of his work, with hidden drawers and compartments skilfully concealed in cabinets and desk.
