Description: London, J Taylor 6th ed, 1814 (corrected and enlarged) viii, 87pp, 84 plates, [5], 8pp publisher's notices 27x22, calf, crudely rebacked with treated black cloth, no text on spine Covers heavily worn, the (re)binding in cloth is heavily worn, some foxing and marks on contents, binding loose, end-papers splitting, owner's name three times in elegant script on fep, overall a fair copy. Enlarged version of this notable work by Nicholson.The owner, one William Annis of Sproxton in Leicestershire, appears to have been practicising his very best handwriting on the endpapers, a nice personal touch.
