Paul Ogden was a leading Manchester architect of the period, responsible both for a number of buildings in the North-West that used traditional methods of construction, and for his dedication to his profession through work on many committees and such like. This paper was originally given to the Manchester Society of Architects, for whose foundation he was largely responsible, in December 1911
