Description: London, Thos. Kelly, 1847. iv, 140pp, 36pp, lxxxiv plates, vi further plates. 28x22, marbled boards, gilt lettered leather spine. Rubbed and marked, front board detached, substantial piece of the spine missing, rear hinge cracked, contents intact and tight, some foxing, bottom edges damp marked. Like previous Kelly editions, this took the original two volumes and printed them together (it is difficult to perceive what Tredgold's revisions might amount to), with seperate paginations. Would make a nice restoration project.
