Description: London, TH Roberts 1878-79 c 1200pp, many ills, interesting adverts. 33x23, glt lttd cloth. Spine rubbed and split, with some missing top and bottom, cloth rubbed, some light foxing, good thus. Owner's name 'Walter Midgley' in elegant copperplate on fep - probably not the celebrated tenor though; a builder from Halifax seems more likely. Fascinating volume, giving many insights into the mid-Victorian building world [heavy item, may require extra postage to some destinations]
