Cloth very faded, edges rubbed, some splitting at the top of the spine, some foxing, otherwise good. Owner's name in ink on fep, and on loosely inserted business card (Hilda Mary Spafford, later Lady Campion). Statham was the editor of the Builder, and used many illustrations from the magazine in this guide to the history and principles of architecture.
