Description: Manchester, 1926 170pp, many fold-out maps (some in col) inc photos, plans etc, 12 section folding maps, showing zoning proposals, apparently hand-coloured, in volume 2. 29x23, maroon library cloth, glt lettering to spine, volume 2 is a map case. Ex library, with neat labels and stamps (many of maps have been stamped on the reverse), slight rubbing to top and bottom edges of cloth, very nice set thus. Significant plan, under the 1925 Act, for this great industrial city. Reginald Bruce was Chief Surveyor. Volume 2 is particularly scarce.
