Aquatint on hand laid paper, sheet size 230 x 163 mm. Engraved by Mademoiselle Noté after Notté, published by Nicolas-François Le Vachez around 1790. We have not been able to establish any further information on 'Mademoiselle Noté'. Claude Jacques Notté (Nanteuil-sur-Marne 1753-1837) was a French miniature portrait painter. In very good condition, cropped within platemark. Some scattered faint soiling in the margins. A few small faint spots in the image area.
