Émile Giroux (active c. 1830-1860) was a French printmaker. Ary Scheffer (1795-1858) was a Dutch-French Romantic painter. He was known for his works based on literature, as well as religious subjects. He was also a prolific painter of portraits of famous and influential people in his lifetime. In very good condition, some soiling in the blank space of the image area. Margin edges faintly discoloured.
