Steel engraving on wove paper, sheet size 271 x 181 mm., platemark 228 x 150 mm. Engraved by Jacques Étienne Pannier after Lizinska de Mirbel. Published in: Cormenin, Louis-Marie de Lahaye. Livre des orateurs. Parijs: L.A. Pagnerre, 1842. Jacques Étienne Pannier was a French engraver with and etcher and also a pastel painter, born in Paris, 1802 and died there in 1869. Lizinska de Mirbel (1796-1849) was a French painter of miniature portraits. She was very fashionable among the aristocracy of Paris during the Bourbon Restoration and the July Monarchy. In very good condition, a few faint lines left of the image. Left margin uneven.
