Johannes Heinrich Maria Hubert Rennefeld (Neuss 1832-1877 Amsterdam) was a Dutch engraver and etcher, a student of Benoit Taurel and a from 1862 a member of Arti et Amicitiae, Amsterdam. S. Altmann is probably Sybrand Altmann (Den Burg 1822-1890 Amsterdam), lithographer, copiist, painter and teacher at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten (Amsterdam). From 1856 he too was a member of Arti et Amicitiae. In good condition, right margin uneven from binding, margin edges browned and with scattered foxing. The image area clean and bright.
