William Henry Mote (1803-1871) was a British stipple and line engraver, primarily known for his portraits. He became a member of the Royal Academy when he was around twenty eight years old. In fair condition, a little browned overall, with a dampstain in the top left (affecting a corner of the image). A second, faint dampstain in the lower left corner of the image. Scattered faint stains in the margins.
