Made by Pieter Feddes van Harlingen (monogrammed in the plate), after an unknown designer, c. 1611-1623. Letterpress text on the verso suggests this print was published in a book. We have not been able to establish the publication. Pieter Feddes van Harlingen (Harlingen 1586 - Leeuwarden 1622) was a Dutch printmaker, publisher, cartographer and painter. His paintings are exclusively portraits, but his prints and drawings also feature other subjects. In very good condition. References: Hollstein Dutch p. 239: 38.
