Engraved by Leon Dardel after the medal issued by the Société Royale de Numismatique de Belgique, 1880.Léon Dardel (Paris 1814 - after 1892) was a French painter and engraver (illustrator). Very little is known about his life, except he was born as the son of a jeweller. Dardel was lauded by his contemporaries for his numismatic line drawings.In excellent condition, but only the lower half of the sheet, which originally contained two engravings.
