Description: Handwritten charter on parchment dated to 1507 with a reference to a letter dated to 1420. That letter was originally written in French by Wulfaert van Everingen but is presented in this manuscript in a Dutch translation, as it is relevant to the statement of 1507. The content concerns the building of dikes and making dry land (inpolderen, polders). Folded parchment sheet, 25x19 cm, with damaged green wax seal depicting a crest with a tower and an eagle behind it. With a handwritten transcription, not dated, but modern, which was attached to the parchement, but is now loose (remnant visible on the parchment). l Manuscript
