Description: Antwerpen, Nicolaes Braau [not before 1707], 12mo. (signatures-in-6), full shagreen (segrijn) binding with ribbed spine and brass closure (not original), marbled paper flyleaves in the back, [36]+696 pp., includes frontispiece and "goedkeuring" (approbation) that are missing in some other copies, the corners of the titlepage are fragile with some tears, the engraved frontispiece has been pasted to the back of the titlepage (for support?), some waterstains and darkened edges, but otherwise in good condition with a solid bookblock and 7 beautiful handcoloured engravings, in some places the decorative initials and headpieces are handcoloured as well. With two ownership entries: "G. Schinkeboom, geb: in 1808 Februarij 8" and in a different hand: "J.F. Sanders hoord dit Boek toe: gekregen in het Jaar 1858: van Evert Matijs Sanders."
