Description: Antwerpen, Frederik van Metelen, 1684, 12mo., full parchment binding with original headbands and bookmark ribbon, [4]+370+[4] pp. (page 357 is incorrectly numbered as 157), smudged parchment, the bookblock has darkened edges with some stains. In two places the interior of the sewing is exposed, but otherwise the construction is still solid. With a woodcut illustration on the titlepage depicting several saints writing around a table and a lovely woodcut endpiece. There is a library stamp pasted in on the front flyleaf (Bibl. Cap. Antv.), an older handwritten ex libris note facing the titlepage: "Dezen boek behoort toe aan my Henri Vandenbergh" and three more oval library stamps on the front and back of the titlepage (Bibliotheca Capucinorum Antverpiae). l 10th edition.
