Description: [Leiden, Pieter vander Eyk, 1748], 8vo., three parts in one volume, half leather binding, ribbed spine with modest gold tooling and titleplate, red sprinkled edges, 86+[32]+96+[28]+75+[38] pp., the paper on the covers is coming loose, some stains, but otherwise in good condition, decorative initials and endpieces. Ex Libris stamp: Mr. C.C.N. Krom. Cornelius Catharinus Nicolaas Krom (1855-1885) was a Dutch archivist with some publcations to his name. At the end of part two there is another stamp: LS (Lectori Salutem?). l Without titlepages (just half titles). The titleplate on the spine refers to Gerard van Loon, "Beschryving der Aloude Regeeringswyze van Holland", but "Lyst der bewysstukken" was published as appendix to: Gerard van Loon, "Historisch bewys, dat het Graafschap van Holland, sedert het begin der leenen tot den afgezwooren Philips den II toe, altyd een leen des Duytschen Ryks geweest is (...)", Leiden, 1748, three parts.
